Hi Calvin,

>Jim, if I gave the impression that I want to sue anyone I am sorry. I just don't want to get sued myself and now I am fairly certain it is going to happen. We are rewriting in VFP but we have thousands of users and many of them are just as happy as can be with the DOS version. The problem is more complex than just going to a 4 digit century since there are hundreds of forms involved where spacing is sometimes crucial. By the way the quote from the documentation- is that from Fox26 or VFP?

You don't subscribe to the FoxPro Advisor, right? In March last year I published a solution that lets you keep SET CENTURY OFF and still provides a ROLLOVER, even handles 02/29/00. It's a plug&play solution, you don't have to change much code, and if you used the screen designer this could be automated. By beta tester had over 100 screens in his application, the conversion took less than a minute. Also, Y2KFOX is an application by Neil Weicher that makes it even easier. All you need is one line of code, though, you have to buy that product, while my solution is public domain.
