How many time over the last days have we read lines like the titleof this threat...

Well my company insist on make out of me a new Oracle Designer/2000 programer (I hope get another VFP job before that happen), I know as many have told me that ORACLE is $$$$$$ well paid $$$$$ and also I knowm that is an excellent database tool, certanlly it is!!, also, personally I love PL/SQL (is very archaic type of 'modern procedural language' but nothig is perfect), also I recognize the strength of DBA in ORACLE... but when it comes to Designer/2000,reality sucks!!! ...sorry for my language!!!( but only a masochist could work with it )

And when I think of this,if only M$ will see this advantage over Oracle it may trigger a new kind of attention to this jewel, VFP...

When it comes to design an full blow, a 'killer', a state of the art etc. DB application, there is nothig like VFP... VB is just fine (you have to figure out many work arounds, at least I have to...)PB and Delphi are alredy dead...
