I've been spending a little time with the VFP 5.0 query designer lately and it's definitely not "to know her is to lover her!"

One quick question: is there any way to indicate parentheses in the filter tab (where clause)?

When I use code to build a view with parentheses and bring that view into the designer it mangles the parentheses. Is this par for the course? (I didn't save in the designer.)
