(Now that I've read through the entire thread.)

I think that the bottom line here is that either one does a good job. There's not much that you'll find on one that you won't find on the other - at least as far as CIS' Fox Forums go. Both have strengths and weaknesses that the other doesn't.

Consider this: CIS is an entire on-line service geared toward professionals. It can be your ISP and you can access it from virtually anywhere in the world. They have forums on photography, beer and wine making, travel, etc., etc. ad infinitum. It has been around longer and is more mature than UT. It is the great granddaddy of on-line services.

UT you know about. But no matter which one you use it's going to take some time and work to really find out which one is best for you. It's not just going to suffice to take a quick look around and make a snap judgement.

But, as Perry so wisely said, why use only 1 when you can have 2?

>Is the Compuserve VFP forum useful? If it's half as good as this forum then I believe I'll need to sign up. Does Compuserve have the same content as this forum, specifically, the file download section? Does the Question / Answer section generate a lot of activity?
