I have a report that has a large header and a large footer with an area in the middle for the detail band. The area will hold about 4 detail records. I need to be able to print a box around this whole area with lines separating the fields all the way down. When I have for detail records this is fine, but when I have less than four records there is a blank space before the page footer. I need this blank space to have the lines running through it. I could in code check for the number of records and if it's less than four create a cursor and pad it with blank records, but I think there has to be a better way. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
