I use it to "rough out" a view, then finish it in code if it's the slightest bit complicated. Erik Moore has uploaded an enhancement to the view designer here in the files section.

Thanks for getting back to me SO fast.

I've been coding SQL syntax since forever and can code it quicker than click it using the VD. BUT, I am using a framework that has more need for the other stuff in the VD (particularly update criteria) than the fields and the JOINs. And where in the Files Section (I'm new to Universal Thread) is Erik's enhancement and does it address my problem?
