Yes I did, but clicking is SO much more fun (and productive and less error-prone) than writing code. Also, were it not for the VD, I would be tempted to create it myself instead of coding CURSORSETPROP's. Maybe Erik's eView does what VD was supposed to.

Anyway, Erik's utility is called eView. Click on the file cabinet icon in the menu and then search for "eview" in the title. You should be able to find it there. I don't know if it will address your need. Good luck, though.

BUT, I am using a framework that has more need for the other stuff in the VD (particularly update criteria) than the fields and the JOINs. And where in the Files Section (I'm new to Universal Thread) is Erik's enhancement and does it address my problem?

Feel free (<bg>) but be advised I am only on-line when I am in trouble. I write my apps on a laptop in a coffee shoppe.

But so far UT looks cool so who knows how often I'll check it out.

Thanks,

David
