This may sound strange, but at the National Housing Trust we still have some applications running on a Novell network that are FoxPro 2.0! We are now modifying it conform to our Year 2000 standard (dd/mm/yyyy). We figured by simply setting century on and allowing for 10 digits in the field, everything would be alright. The problem we have discovered is that the system still allows the two digit year to be entered. If this is done, it appends 19 to the year, so a date entered as 02/03/00 gets displayed as 02/03/1900. Is there a neat way to force 4 digit years? If there isn't, is there some way that we could force the display of 2000 for the year, instead of 1900?
