>I'm using VFP 6.0. This should be easy but I'm tired of struggling so decide to post. Basically, I have a report that prints a memo and then info below it. I can't get the data or label below the memo to print correctly. Here is the basic layout in the detail band:

If some portion of the Quantity label does not fall directly beneath the stretched memo field, then it will not float. To get labels and controls to float that are offset to one side of a stretched field, you can do the following:

1) Create a horizontal line that spans the width of the page directly beneath your stretched memo field.
2) Set this line to "Float"
3) Make the line invisible by setting the Pen width to none (select the line and from the menu select Format -> Pen -> none)
