Hi Christof -- Not sure what you guys are talking about? In vfp5, when a modal is launched within a top-level, neither menu nor toolbar can be accessed. Kevin is mistaken on this. This is default behavior, and no extra coding is needed...

There's been a slight (and rather good) change in vfp6. From a modal, the toolbar is still totally inaccessible, but a menu is now accessible read-only. That is, you can click on menu bar item, and it will drop down for display, but all pads are disabled. Nice little improvement...
