Oh, I see, you "cheated" a little on your guess :) You did prompt me to find a workaround for the problem, though. You set the Style = 2 at design, then first thing in the combo init(), set it to 0. Seems to work fine, if it doesn't interfere with any coding in a more sophisticated situation than my little test form, at least...good work!
