There are several available. The big players are ESRI with their MapObjects product (
www.esri.com/software/mapobjects) and MapInfo's MapX (
www.mapinfo.com/mapx). One other company I know of is Blue Marble Geographics (
www.bluemarblegeo.com/dev.htm). I don't know if AutoDesk has one for AutoCAD or not.
We use MapObjects. However, using it is not for the faint of heart. Their object model is rather complex, and of course you'll get no help in the way of VFP examples. You'll have to transpose VB examples. If you go with it I'll try to help you if I can. Others here have also used with it.
