>>Just to clarify things. The patches available on the VFP website are
not included in any service pack. In fact, there have been two service packs for Visual Studio 6.0. Neither has VFP specific fixes, but there are updates to DLLs that VFP uses. Service Pack 2 includes everything in SP1. You should apply SP2
and the patches on the VFP website.

Actually there are TWO setup wizard patches - one addressed the Y2K and the other addressed the other bugs. both are at the update site and should be applied AFTER service pack 2.
now for the other problem: After the setup disks are made, I am getting a failure to register the runtime files in the Windows registry when installing a program on a Win95 system. On an NT system, ONE of the OCX files fail to register. ON EITHER system, the product will not un-install using the add/remove programs from the contol panel - the error message says that it cannot find an "ini" file and others as well. Any one have any help on this?
