I've heard from several people that the VFP team is working on better ADO integration. I haven't heard exactly how this would work, but hopefully it would be pretty seamless. I would expect that you would at least be able to bind an ADO recordset to a grid which is one of the biggest annoyances right now.

I've also heard that this could be included in an interim release before 7.0. Based on how many times I've heard about this and who I've heard it from I'm pretty confident that we'll see better ADO integration in the next version of VFP. As for an interim release that may just be speculation.
