Create a view with two parameters, d_begin and d_end, that are a part of the WHERE condition for the view. Create a report using the view as the source of records for the report. Collect your target begin and end date, and then:

d_begin = dReportBeginDate
d_end = dReportEndDate

REPORT FORM MyViewBasedReport PREVIEW

The view will pick up the values for the view from the variables that match the view parameter names and use them as the selection criteria behind the view.
