On somewhat of a tangent.

I have been working on something I believe to be similar to your situation.
The developer before me was attempting to hide the main VFP window and use a top level form as the main application screen. This caused a host of other problems.

Our solution, fake it.

We use the main FoxPro window title bar as the title bar for all full size screens.All screens are normal, in-screen windows which have the top property set to -21. This effectively hides the title bar of the screen, making it look as if the screen does not have a title bar and the top-line menu is in the main screen. It's an simple and effective trick which does not require dealing with some of the involved problems hiding the main VFP window can spawn.

Just a suggestion.
