Still in the infancy stages of testing VFP5.0 but it seems to work. Some pecularties:
1.The Japanese Fonts come up with garbage characters when in the properties window and not selected but when you high light it, it come up with the correct name.
2. You must select the correct font! Very critical. Fonts with the @ sign in front of them tend to turn the characters 90 degrees. Other fonts work in Hiragana but not in Kanji (same rotation problem). A few fonts work with experimentation. Yet, most fonts work in Word! Ya gotta love the consistency of Microsoft.
3. I'm looking for a solution to order by Japanese characters. I have it defaulted to Machine collating sequence right now.
