I get that message occaisionally, in fact I just had it done to me 3 minutes ago. I have never received it while running one of my applications, but I get them while developing. It is like during development I run other programs that may interfere with FoxPro 2.6a. I have suspected 2.6a and our CCmail system dont get along or 2.6a and my real audio player do not get along. All of these are Windows 3.1 programs. It could be a memory conflict between them. I have severly limited my interaction with Windows 3.1 programs while running 2.6a and having tables in exclusive mode, as most often if that error occurs then my tables are usually trashed.
Hope we can get a definite answer here, but the trend here seems to be away from answering 2.6 questions for the more glamorous answers to VFP. It is like 2.6 has become the second class citizen.
