Just realized I was mistaken about the modal form. My warning form does show if the active form is model. It is only the browse window that is a problem. Have not decided which is more problemematic, browse windows or grids. They are both a pain.

>Want to kick users off the application. Before doing the kicking, I give "do warn_form" that says "you have 1 minute to complete your work". unfortunately, the warning form does not display if the client is on a modal for or a browse window. What can I do to let the client know he only has 1 minute to finish work?
