I agree with John that VFPDA can't *market* VFP. But it could encourage people to write as Rox points out. Basically, if they saw something that looked/sounded interesting, inquire if the person(s) would write something up. Then be able to give that person a contact to send the article. They could also act as sounding board/proof reader to help the author along. I think that is one of the main drawbacks to a lot people writing no encouragement or support.
The other area is to respond with appropriate materials (including statements from MS) to the dreaded VFP is dead rumor.
These are the two areas that I see not being covered today. No ads or flyers. No letters or emial to managers. Just some simple "Hey, look at this" type stuff.
