So who is fat and happy? The C/C++ crowd?
I posted this in another thread but it seem applicable to your comments:
On the cover of the March 22, InfoWorld:
Microsoft May Jolt Java
Side Bar: Signs of Microsoft's waning support:
Reluctance to embrace Java2 in its software
Apparent backing-off of support for its Java tool on Windows CE
Appeal of a November court order to implement Java as Sun sees fit
Seeking court permission to develop an alternative to Java
Java 2 is getting good reviews in the press. If MS does not upgrade J++ to Java 2 specs, I would say that a fairly dismal sign for future support.
