I didn't understand that if I reconnected that all messages that I had the previous time would be gone even if I didn't read them. I now understand this to be the case - thanks to your first response.

I just checked the link to the Universal Thread from the VFUG site and it is http://www.transformation.com/universa so I guess this has been fixed.
