Title:
VFP remote view error - object in use
When SQL Server remote views in our VFP application are accessed at the exact same time by two users, one user gets an 'object in use' error. Accessing by two users a couple of seconds apart is fine. The remote views are merely views at this point, and no updating is happening. The locks on the SQL Server should be shared, so I would not think this is the problem. The VFP views share connections and fetch all records (which is usually 1 or a small number) at once. On the VFP database we have synchronous execution and batch processing. Where is the problem?
