Potential customer: "You want to do this in FoxPro? Is that a legitimate tool?"
VFP developer: "Well, I *think* it is, therefore it must be..."

Were employers seeking CNE's or MCSE's prior the Novell/Microsoft's certification programs? Does having a CNE or MCSE make one a better engineer? Does not having one make an engineer worth less? This thread has played out on the UT before... Obviously, the certification is only as strong as the requirements to receive it.

You're an MCP (author, MVP). If certification # legitimacy, why bother?
