At least I have the excuse of being on Pacific time!
Yes, not being able to use properties is the 'Myform.Myproperty' format is a real drawback. Sometimes I end up with a couple of 'layers' of variables and macros to make a compiled program work where 1 line of code in the command box works perfectly.
