>Just to clarify, the next interum release of VFP will allow the COMPILE command to be used at runtime, so you can do a STRTOFILE() then COMPILE within an APP, EXE, DLL, or with the new MTDLL (multi-threaded DLL). This has nothing to do with macro substition and nothing to do with VFP objects. If you or Robin would like to see behavior beyond this related to dynamic code, etc. in a future version of VFP, just send e-mail to foxwish@microsoft.com.

>>Just FYI- Ken Levy poked his head in here yesterday and mentioned that the next interim release of VFP will come with the abillity to issue COMPILE at runtime. My guess is that the dynamic methods you speak of will be made possible by this.

Does this mean that we can change the code in the debugger like VB6?
