>I don't use the MMF, but it looks like you need to set your modal form with the edit box to the default datasession. When you call a modal form from a private datasession, the default DS in the modal form is the private DS of the calling form. All of your data in the calling form is then available - record pointers set correctly, etc.

Thanks that was it. Yesterday was a tough one and I was just wore out by the time I had to add this little extra form.
