Unfortunately, if you don't get an answer that tells you a system variable that tells you your position on the page, I think you might be outta luck. Unless you can print to a file and hack the file (look for page breaks and insert the test before them appropriately).
This is a case where I'd use the old ?, ??, ??? method to a file with printer control codes. But, if you don't know what printer command set you are programming for, you are in bigger trouble.

Is there a way, system variable or whatever, to determine how far from this value I am in a report? I want to be able to print some text before the page ejects. I can't put it in the group footer because I don't want it to print after each group change only before the page eject. TIA
