Hi there:

I am having a very strange problem with an executable I just created. I compiled an EXE from a project where I had the typical components (PRGs, classes, forms, foxtools.fll, etc) but when I run it, I get an error: "Error instantiating class. Cannot find .vcx" when I try to instantiate a class from this VCX. I made sure that the VCX in question IS in the project. I even displayed the contents of SET("CLASSLIB") and it shows me that the library is loaded prior to issuing CREATEOBJECT(...)

If I copy that VCX along with the EXE, then it runs fine. Has anybody run into this problem? Is there a problem with the routine that builds EXE's in VFP?

I am using VFP 6.0 with the latest Service Pack.

Thanks.
