I'm getting an error message during the installation of an exe I created using the VFP3's setup wizard. The install used to work, but now after several days of tweaks to the setup wizard for other reasons it doesn't. I'm creating the app for both 3.x and '9x machines. The install works fine on my '95 machine but fails on a 3.x machine.

The title bar of the error messagebox:
Setup Parse Error in Initialize pass

The error message:
Object ID 2: AppSearch Object: Bad Filename Field

I did a search of files on the install disk containing the phrase "AppSearch" and came up with the SETUP16.STF. I'm not sure if its the offending party.

The line in the SETUP16.STF containing the above text ( and the line above it which looks like headers) reads:
ObjID Install During Batch Mode Title Descr Type Data Bmp Id Vital Shared Dir Chang Dest Dir Check Directory
2 Victoria Financial Rating Disk Search for previous versions. AppSearch """C:\VICTORIA\WINPPA\"", ""Victoria PPA"", """", 1, ""yes"", ""yes"","
I copied the two lines above from the STF file directory. The two lines do not contain carriage returns, they just appear to be more than two lines because of word wrap. If you copy the above text, starting at "ObjID" and continue until the last " and paste it into your editor you'll see the actual two lines. I'm not familiar with what it is supposed to look like though.
