I think a significant issue in relation to this will be the 64-bit issue George commented on. When Windows-Whatever goes to 64-bit, it'll be interesting to see what is done to keep VFP current. They'll have to move it up for VFP to "stay in the fold". :-)

Right now VFP 5.0 or 6.0 is stable enough that we can be working for quite a number of years using VFP in it's present form. Sure there are bugs, but hey that's why we subclass everything so we can work around those bugs (SORRY VB GUYS!).
