>Hi Ed,
> Some of my clients' machines have an old version of DCOM95 installed, apparently, because my app is blowing up on exit. I don't want to add the DCOM95 install to the application installation process; instead I plan to install it manually on an as-needed basis. Can you tell me how to install DCOM95 manually on a machine? Also, how can I get a copy of DCOM95 in a form that I can install it? Can I get it off my VFP6 CD?

DCOM98.EXE is on Visual Studio CD 1. This will work with both Win95 and WIn98.

You can download DCOM95.EXE from Microsoft's web site http://www.microsoft.com/msdownload/default.htm

You install either by firing the executable.
