You said that you have some program that are running on NT Server as service. Does your services uses big amount of memory? I ask you that because i tested my service on Windows NT today and I found that my service need from 50 - 60 MB of RAM to run.
What it does is downloading some raw test files, treating them into a database. The program makes 5 different pass (with 5 different files) and it sort a couple of million record by pass.
May it be because I use cursor (for temp file) insted of standard table? If not, WHY? Do you have any idea?
