I have registered a vfp com server on my NT server.
I have also set the DCOM Configuration properties for the vfp server to run on the the server by selecting the appropriate check box under the location tab.

From the the client machine (running NT workstation) in a VFP command window I attempt to instantiate the object:
oCan = createobjectex("{9AC8C5A2-E935-11D2-9F3E-00902717EABA}","AHT1SX0014")

First parameter:ClassId of the registered vfp server
Seccond parameter:Computer Name or IP address (I have tried both )

It goes away for awhile and thinks...

Eventually it returns an "OLE error code 0x800706ba: The RPC server is unavailable"

I have successfully accomplished the same thing using the Automation Manger and Remote Automation Connection Manager

Any Ideas ?
