Well, for one, after I dial in to his modem server and connect to a TS server, I can set a network path back to my workstation. That means when I open Explorer, I see my hard drive and can access it just as if it were another drive on the network. I can transfer files etc etc without going thru PCA's file transfer process.

Similarly, I can set my local printer as a network printer. The only problem with that is occasionally, one of his users will inadvertently select my printer for their output <g>.

The reponse time is better than PC Anywhere (I use that for other clients)

I can literally open my app on his server faster than I can open it here in my office locally. That is due to the fact that even tho I am connected via phone lines, his server is a much faster machine with mucho more memory than mine (I need an upgrade <g>).

If given administrator rights, I can see all of the connections and find out who forgot to log out of my app when they went home. I can also zap them if necessary.

Hope this helps,

Ken
