Fortunately, Microsoft is not trying to kill VFP; there's been a tremendous amount of positive press on the product, and it's getting much wider acceptance in the end-user community, not because of marketing, but because there are so many solid examples of where VFP is doing a fine job. You're entitled to your opinion; fortunately, my opinion is you're completely off-base with this.
