>>>What I want to do is take some data in a variable created in the Init of a report and use it in the Destroy of a report. In a form I would just create a property of the form and use it. Can't do that here I don't think. Other than using a global variable or passing it in a temporary cursor, how can it be done? Or can it?

>>Unless I'm mistaken (and someone will correct me if I am) a report is within the scope of it's calling form. You should be able to create a form property to store the value and have it be visible at report.destroy....

>Good point Paul but there is no calling form that is unique to this report. The variables are all gathered from an object created in the Init of the report. For various reasons I am trying to make the report self contained

Are your forms contained in an application object? You could put a property there...
