I think their quality is great and they have a great keyboard. I code in the car (wife driving). Code in bed on planes or wherever. GREAT BATTERY LIFE. One batter 3 - 4 hours. 2 Batteries double that.

Yes it seems the Sony key layout is no way professional. I can not know the Sony's actual battery life as I have not used it yet (they claim 3+ hours), but 3 to 4 hours, in a VFP app, seems extraordinary.

But the price is less than 60% of a comparable ThinkPad. And my bank account IS cost-sensitive.

Still undecided.
