Check out "Squeeze Data with DynaZip" by T. Roche in the May 99 issue of
FoxPro Advisor for tips on how to incorporate a commercial Zip utility into a VFP application.
As to merely ziping/unziping the application and associated file, there should be no problem with any Pkzip™-compliant utility. I do it all the time with no ill effects.
