Yes, as you said I am using ActiveX anigif control to display my animation. I just issue a = createobject("word.application") in Init event. While automated MS Word, my animation is hang. Again, I have a marquee running in the same form too using timer. After my Main form displayed, I set my splash screen still remain on screen. The activeX seem to be OK, but my marquee timer only fired after few secs. Any suggestion?
