Anything can be used in a criminal act....it's the act which makes it criminal....whether an email, or a Word document or whatever. Look at it this way: A paperweight is not criminal, the manufacturers are not criminal but if I pick it up and bash your skull in with it, I am a criminal. I don't think it's the medium here, it *is* the message and the message was harmful.

And I do think that there are privacy issues with regard to your contacts list in your email.
