Thank You for your quick response. It is a multi developer environment but the only thing it is trying to recompile is the procedure file. Would this still have the same affect. It acts as if it is hanging something, because when you close out of FoxPro you see a wait window that says "Do Canceled", like it never released it. Thanks again
