I think using the form's keypress with keypreview set to .T. is the way to go.

>We have developed an app for a customer who previously had been using a text based app that used function keys extensively. Our first experience with Fox was VFP version 5 and now we use VFP 6, and we have not used function keys in app much, if at all. Normally we use an ALT key combination to click() a command button, our client wants to use function key instead. Using SET FUNCTION to ALT combination in Init of Form works OK unless focus is on a grid object. Would I be moving in the right direction to set KeyPreview of form to .T. and have the KeyPress event call a method to click() the appropriate command button, or is there any easier way ?
