Good advice from Josh. After I register, I sit down with the schedule and note every session I want to attend [each session is offered twice]. I then slot as many of the ones I want to go to as I can based on the day and time they are offered. Some session would need to be taken in order so you will be limited in your flexibility for those. You won't get to go to all of them, but you do get all presentation materials and code samples from every session on a CD. You will also get a large 3-ring binder with all the Powerpoint slides, schedule, event tickets, etc.

You might want to take a small-to-medium-sized, empty carry-on duffel-type bag to put all your DevCon stuff in to bring back home. There is usually some software given to each attendee along with all the other stuff. They do provide a shipping service toward the end if you prefer to ship all your stuff home [for a small fee of course].
