Run VFP, use CD to move to the directory where the application is stored, then run your program using DO MyProg.exe. If that works, the problem is probably with your run-time files. I think if you just double-click the exe in Explorer (or use a shortcut) VFP will use the run-time files installed on the machine rather than running the full version of VFP.
If that is the case you should create a new VFP run-time install (make sure you use the exact same version of VFP that you used to create the application). Then delete all the VFP*.dll files in the user's \windows\system folder and re-install the VFP run-time.
