When I reindex a table of approx 1 million records I get some garbled characters displayed. The strange characters always appear from the 5th index and on. Example below:

----
reindexing tag fk_c3start of file ...
reindexing tag rfid of file ...
reindexing tag bed of file ...
reindexing tag tx_time of file ...
reindexing tag tx_date &%$of file ...
reindexing tag mach *(#&& of file ...
reindexing tag id &@$@^@#@of file ...
----

The indexes work fine, but I am concerned that something is wrong with the table or index. None of the following works:
- packing the table
- reindexing
- deleting all indexes and recreating
- changing the order of the indexes

I made a copy of the table and deleted all the records except for 10 and then packed. The garbled characters don't show (obviously this isn't a solution for the live table).

Any ideas on how to fix this or what is happening with the table?
