Thanx for the response. I found out the SQL prop is indeed read-only (would be a nice ehancement). I also found an article in FP Advisor showing how to create these views on the fly. You got to remove the View, recreate it with the new SQL where clause, then add it back to the DE. I'm working on that right now.
You said something about local dbc's. I keep all my dbc's on the network along with the associated tables and the exe's are installed locally. If I do this, when one person changes the scope of the view, everyone else on the network will see the change. Is that right?
Can you run a netwrok application with the dbc installed locally? I have never done this. How?
