While you are monitoring this thread, I would like to mention one of my VFP pet peeves: the order of presentation of properties in the Edit Property/Method window. (BTW, I'm on 5.0 in case this is better in 6.0.)

The structure that holds the properties works very much like a DOS directory. Normally new properties are added at the bottom. But a deleted property leaves a hole which is filled by the next assigned property.

The effect is that when I am looking for a property name I can neither assume that the names are in alphabetical order nor in creation order.

Alpha order would be best, of course, but I will settle for create order.

One other suggestion: I would prefer having Edit Property and Edit Method as separate menu choices, rather than havings properties and methods mixed together in the presentation list.
