Bill is right about the sys(2015). But hwy are you creating a unique name for a cursor? Cursor names are alias' and the file name is guaranteed to be unique by VFP. There is no need to generate a unique name for a cursor.

CREATE CURSOR MyResult

can be run on every machine in the network simultaneously and all stations will get a unique and separate file on disk.
