I am useing the mscomm32.ocx to develope a form that communitcates with a dumb terminal on a robotic machine. The form was working fine, but only when I develope it on the machine that I am using for the application.

I program on a different machine in my office. This is impractical for me to go out to the application PC and design forms just to make the mscomm work.

When mscomm32.ocx is activated on the form it is crashing the PC with an ivalid page fault...

Should I copy the X file from my PC to the Application PC, then register it again? They both have the same date and size on them, so I do not know if this will work to remedy the situation.
